All your shopping needs can be met in the bustling town of Nidri, just a ten minute drive away. Here you can find supermarkets, grocers, a butcher, fishmonger, (that strangely sells not just fish, but cigarettes) and numerous bakeries filled with tempting goodies. There are plenty of restaurants in the town, from traditional Greek, to contemporary Italian, as well as some rather funky cafes and bars.

For a rather more relaxed experience, head round Vlicho Bay to the small village of Geni, situated on a peninsula separating the sheltered inlet from the open sea. “Linger over a meal sat in the shade of the vines” Along the waterside are several very pleasant tavernas, where you can linger over a meal sat in the shade of the vines, just feet away from the still water of the bay.

The closest beach to Anlys Villa is at Dessima bay, around ten minutes drive. The pebble beach has wonderful views down the Megannissi channel, crystal clear water and a couple of beachside tavernas, ideal for relaxing in the shade with a drink.
